OC6 Practice
OC6 Workouts for the 2010 practice schedule will start in April. Weekend practices will start up at the end of January, on Saturday & Sunday mornings at 10:00am while weekday workouts will start after daylight savings, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:00pm. As the race season progresses, weekend training will be primarily on Sundays. Schedule is subject to change around other events such as races but will generally stay the same. Check the Events Calendar, the Forums, or contact a coach for changes to the schedule. OC1 Practice
In addition to our OC6 workouts, many Hui Wa'a paddlers train on OC1's throughout the year. If you have interest in participating on the OC1 winter program please contact any of the coaches about getting involved in the workouts. Morning workouts on the weekdays are starting up, but are not regularly scheduled, so check the Events Calendar or the Forums to see who's hitting the water and when! "Downhill" Runs When conditions are good, some Hui Wa'a paddlers may organize "downhill" runs starting from Oyster Point or Coyote Point down to Redwood City. It's a great chance to practice your canoe surfing skills and is a great workout! Check the Weather Conditions and the Forums to see if there's one being organized soon!
